Bringing a Christmas in july to new lisbon

New Lisbon Developmental Center is a state run, residential facility for 463 developmentally disabled men and women in New Lisbon, NJ right off Route 72. The staff does an amazing job working with these clients and are dedicated to their well being. Unfortunately, Covid-19 has hit their facility, and both staff and clients have gotten the virus.

What can we do to help? Jeff Siedlecki has reached out to the New Lisbon and asked how we can help them during this difficult time. The staff responded with a list of items requested by each cottage (small community living together) to make their days brighter.

Let’s make it a "Christmas in July" for this community desperately in need of cheer! Click on https://volunteersignup.org/QEBTY and sign up for what item(s) you would like to donate. You will notice that the items on this list are not expensive but are simple toys and food items. Then, return the item(s) to Church parking lot on Wednesday, July 1st between 9-11am and 6-8pm. We ask that you label the item with the cottage name as noted in the link; we will have a box for each cottage. After the collection, we have a crew that will safely deliver the items. What a joy it will be when the residents of the cottage gather around and open the box to see the items from their wish list! Please contact Jeff Siedlecki with more information at 609-346-9063.
