BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY COLLECTION

A collection of school supplies for children in need has begun! On August 24, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm we hope to distribute enough school supplies for approximately 100 children in need along with gift certificates for shoes and haircuts in memory of Charlie Green who provided the funds to take care of those in need.


A list of items requested can be found at the display in the café and are listed below. Please place donations in the baskets by the poor boxes.


Items needed:: Back Packs, canvas lunch bags and lunch boxes, loose leaf paper, 1" & 2" binders, (flexible or hard plastic), dividers with tabs, pocket dividers, pocket folders, 1, 3 & 5 subject notebooks, composition books, 3x5 index cards, pencils, red, blue & black pens, (regular & erasable), markers ( regular & dry erase), colored pencils, crayons, highlighters, erasers, scissors, rulers, post it notes/flags glue sticks, scotch tape, pencil bags and boxes, reinforcement rings for notebook paper, graph paper handi wipes and book covers.

It is our hope to help the children of our families start their school year off in a positive manner to foster their success in school.

Saint Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a community of lay Catholics whose mission is to assist the poor and needy through prayer and action. Membership exists at three levels: active members participate in meetings and charitable activities on a regular basis; associate members help periodically, and contributing members provide assistance through donations of money, food, or other items. The society meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. We warmly welcome new members.  


Monetary contributions can be deposited in the poor boxes throughout the church or in the jar at the display table in the Café. 


The Food Pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am -noon and is available to those who qualify who live in the communities of Chatsworth, Shamong, Southampton, Tabernacle and Vincentown.
