Thank you to each and every one of the 89 volunteers who came out to help this week with Vacation Bible School. From our junior crew leaders who experienced leading for the first time to our adult crew who kept an eye on the whole group, thank you for leading our kids through a fun, God-filled experience.
Our kitchen volunteers made even our snacks a meaningful and tasty experience because each day, one group of crews served the whole community by putting the snack together for everyone.
Our station leaders and their helpers made the scriptures and Bible points come alive through game, play, song, videos and science backed crafts.
Our HERO ministry greeted our kids, provided the morning skit to get us rolling and then rolled up their sleeves and slid right into volunteer roles across the VBS experience.
Thank you to our registrars who greeted each family with a smile, our floaters who slid in wherever needed and our time keepers who kept us right on schedule.
Jeff Siedlecki and his awesome team of adults and youth from HERO did an absolutely amazing job with the set this year. Thank you!
If you haven't had a chance to walk down to Hoffman Hall, I invite you to check out the set before we need to take it down to make room for the Pine Barrens Festival. Thank you to the whole Holy Eucharist staff who worked behind the scenes to make us (and the building) look good. Finally, thank you Father Andrew for believing in the VBS vision and letting us go crazy for God this week in the building.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank our parish community for all of your donations to the VBS program. We appreciate you!
Last but not least we thank our 100 children who joined us this week. Without you, there is no reason to have a VBS program. We hope and pray that God uses this week of VBS to bring you closer to Him.
Enjoy your summer!
Yours in Christ,
Donna Remaley and Jessica Garrett
