If you are unsure of the benefits of becoming a member of our parish, please see the information below. We have also included a few helpful tips before you begin filling out the Parish Membership Form.

Please note: Becoming a member of Church of the Holy Eucharist does not obligate you to anything. However, it does greatly support communication, connection, and a growing sense of community in your faith journey.

  • If you received a letter in the mail around December 1st, 2025, you are a registered member of our parish. At this time, we ask all registered members to confirm their “active” registration status and ensure that their information is up to date by clicking the “Church Census” image above. If any updates are needed, you will have the option to make them directly in the form.

If you did not receive a letter, it means we do not currently have you listed as a registered member of our parish. That’s no problem! We invite you to take the next step and become a registered member by clicking the “Membership Drive – Become a Member of Our Parish” image on this page.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHY HAVE A CHURCH MEMBERSHIP DRIVE & CENSUS?

Holding a Membership Drive and Census at Church of the Holy Eucharist helps us gain a clearer understanding of the current state of our parish so we can plan wisely for the future. We are continually discerning ways to use our resources more effectively in order to strengthen the faith life of our community—deepening our relationship with God and with one another through meaningful communication, outreach, and events that support the spiritual needs of our parish.

Your participation in this drive or census not only helps with the organizational needs of the parish, but also strengthens our mission and draws us more deeply into community.

WHAT AM I BEING ASKED TO DO?

There are two simple answers to this question; what you do depends on your current status in our parish registry.

If you are not a registered member:

We invite individuals and families who are not yet registered to become part of our parish community by clicking the “Membership Drive – Become a Member of Our Parish” image above.

If you are a registered member:

If you recently received a letter containing your registry information, please take a moment to review it. Confirm that your information is accurate and up to date, or make any necessary changes. You can do this by clicking the “Church Census – Confirm Your Registration” image above.

AM I A REGISTERED MEMBER/FAMILY?

PLEASE NOTE:

- Registering a child in LIFT,  the parish's family faith formation program, DOES NOT register a person or family in the parish.

- Filling out a "Connection Card" at the Welcome Center DOES NOT register a person or family in the parish.

To be a registered member/family of the parish, you must complete a Parish Membership Form—available in the Parish Office or online (Click the "Membership Drive" image above). This form collects basic personal details as well as sacramental information for you and your family.

If you are a registered member/family, you should have received a letter around December 1st, 2025, with instructions on how to confirm your information. If you did not receive this letter and believe you should have, please contact the Parish Office at hec@holyeucharist.org. Thank you.

WHY BEING A REGISTERED MEMBER OF YOUR PARISH MATTERS:

  • Community Support and Belonging: Membership fosters a deeper sense of belonging within our spiritual family. It builds connections rooted in faith, love, and community—offering comfort, encouragement, and strength in both joyful and challenging times.
  • Participation: Registration encourages and supports active involvement in the life of the parish. It provides a structure for participating in the church’s mission—whether through service, ministries, stewardship, or other opportunities to share your gifts.
  • Communication: The church regularly communicates with active members of our parish. By registering, you ensure that you stay informed and up to date on the latest news, events, and opportunities within our church community.
  • Sacraments: When you are a registered member of a parish, your sacramental information is securely recorded and easily accessible. This ensures a smooth process when preparing for future sacraments and helps verify eligibility to serve as a sponsor or godparent.

TIPS FOR MEMBER REGISTRATION FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES:

Registering as an individual or a family can take a few minutes of your time.

* Try not to fill out the registration form while in the middle of a task or running errands.  It is best to sit down without distractions and fill out the form. Less distraction helps to prevent errors.  It will take anywhere between 5 to 15 minutes depending on the size of your family.

* If available, have your family's Sacramental information handy before filling out the parish membership  form.  Dates and locations of the past Sacraments (i.e. Baptism, Confirmation, etc.) you or your family have received is important information in your registration process. This information will be necessary if an individial in your family wants to receive future Sacraments and/or wanting to become a Godparent/Sponsor.

* Please be aware, the exact dates of your past Sacraments are very helpful. If you do not have this information, an estimated date is acceptable. If your information is unknown, or you currently have not received Sacraments, you can skip this part of the registration.

* Be sure to fill out the membership form in one sitting. There is no way to save your progress and come back later.

* If you have any trouble filling out the Parish Membership form or have questions, we are happy to assist you. Please email hec@holyeucharist.org

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!

At the end of the Membership Drive and Census in June of 2026, we will send out a "Thank You" Postcard confirming the Active Status of all those in our newly updated Parish Registry.

Be on the lookout for your postcard if you newly registered with our parish or if you updated/confirmed your registerd information.

We are excited about what an updated registry can do for our parish. In the future, we plan to build a digital directory and continue improving the ways we stay connected, support one another, and strengthen our parish community.
