“Our Lady of Guadalupe: Mother of All”
The central message of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe is that she did not come alone; she carried Jesus in her immaculate womb. Her message emphasized that a “sacred little house” should be built in our hearts for Jesus Christ, our Lord. This way, we can all become women and men of the Eucharist, living tabernacles.
Nicholas Petrillo’s life and vocation reflect a deep commitment to serving the Catholic Church. Baptized at St. William the Abbot in Howell, NJ, and raised in Oceanport, he eventually spent three years with NET Ministries before entering St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. Although he discerned out of the seminary in 2015, he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and later completed a master’s degree in theology in 2019. He went on to serve as a religion teacher and campus minister at Mater Dei Prep and St. Rose High School.
Today, Nicholas serves as the Associate Director of Marriage Ministries and Natural Family Planning for the Diocese of Trenton. Married since 2017, he and his wife have two sons, Declan James and Benedict Leo. He is passionate about helping couples grow in their sacramental marriage and witness to God’s love through family life. As he says, “Married life is the best life I’ve lived!”
