Please note, becoming a member of Church of the Holy Eucharist DOES NOT obligate you to do anything, however, it does help with communication and can build a sense of community for your growing faith.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHY HAVE A CHURCH MEMBERSHIP DRIVE & CENSUS?

Having a Membership Drive and Census at Church of the Holy Eucharist, will help us better understand the current state of our parish and plan for the good future ahead of us.  We continue to look for ways to be more efficient with our resources which will deepen our parish members relationships with God and one another through communication, outreach and events that meet the spiritual needs of the Church. Your participation in this drive or census will not only support the organizational side of our parish, it will also support our mission that will bring us deeper into community.

WHAT AM I BEING ASKED TO DO?

There are two simple answers to this question; what you do is based on your current status in our registry.

If you are currently NOT a registered member in our parish, we encourage non-registered individuals or families to become registered by clicking the "Membership Drive - Become a member of our parish" image above.

If you are a registered member and you received a letter recently with your registry information,  please confirm your registration information is correct and up to date or update your information if need be. Please do so by clicking the "Church Census - confirm your registration" image above.

AM I A REGISTERED MEMBER/FAMILY?

PLEASE NOTE:

 - Registering a child in LIFT,  the parish's family faith formation program, DOES NOT register a person or family in the parish.

- Filling out a "Connection Card" at the Welcome Center DOES NOT register a person or family in the parish.

To be a registered member/family in the parish, one must complete a "Parish Membership Form" either in the Parish Office or online.  It is a form that asks for basic details and past Sacramental information about you and your family.

If you are a registered member/family, you should have received a letter around December 1st, 2025 with details on how to confirm your information.  If you did not, and you feel you should have, please contact the parish office: hec@holyeucharist.org Thank you.

WHY BEING A REGISTERED MEMBER OF YOUR PARISH MATTERS:

  • Community Support and Belonging: Membership fosters a deeper sense of belonging, love, and mutual support within a spiritual family, which can be a source of comfort and strength.
  • Participation: It encourages and provides a structure for active participation in the church's work, whether through service, giving, or other forms of ministry.
  • Communication: The church often communicates through many ways with the active members of our parish.  Being a registered member ensures you are staying up to date with the latest at our church.
  • Sacraments: Sacramental preparation and future opportunities that surround your Sacraments - for instance, registered active members are eligible for sponsor/godparent validation.

TIPS FOR MEMBER REGISTRATION FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES:

Registering as an individual or a family can take a few minutes of your time.

* Try not to fill out the registration form while in the middle of a task or running errands.  It is best to sit down without distractions and fill out the form - it will take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes depending on the size of your family. Less distraction also helps with errors.

* If available, have your family's Sacramental information handy before filling out the form.  Dates and locations of the Sacrament received will be necessary for future Sacraments.  Even an estimated date can be helpful, if you do not have all the information.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!

AT THE END OF THE MEMBERSHIP DRIVE AND CENSUS, WE WILL SEND OUT A THANK YOU POST CARD CONFIRMING THE ACTIVE STATUS OF THOSE WHO ARE REGISTED WITH THE PARISH.   THIS POST CARD WILL CONFIRM
