Confessions are heard each Saturday from 3:30pm - 4:30pm or by appointment (call our parish office at 609 268 8383).

One of the Sacraments of Healing in the Catholic Church is the Sacrament of Reconciliation

(also known as Confession or Penance).   The peace of mind and soul which this sacrament imparts to us in one for which there is no substitute.   It is a peace that flows from a certainty, rather than an unsure hope,

that our sins have been forgiven  and we are right with God.

Before celebrating the Sacrament of Penance, one should prepare oneself with an examination of conscience, which involves reflecting prayerfully on one's thoughts, words, and deeds in order to identify any sins.

ADVENT RECONCILIATION SERVICE - SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6th, 2025 at 10:00am

The Advent Reconciliation service provides an opportunity to reflect on scripture and our choices, and then individuals can receive the love and mercy of God in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  Many priests are available from surrounding parishes to hear confessions.  There is nothing to memorize...just come and experience the healing intended for you!

FIRST RECONCILIATION CALENDAR 2025 - 2026

We welcome children preparing for their First Reconciliation! It is through your family and within your family that your child will come to understand the sacrament of Reconciliation and the immensity of God’s love and forgiveness. Therefore, preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in our parish takes the form of family instruction in addition to the monthly family faith formation sessions known as LIFT (Click for more information on LIFT).

In accordance with diocesan guidelines, there is a two year preparation period for the reception of sacraments. This means that children receiving First Reconciliation and First Eucharist must be enrolled in LIFT during first grade so that they are ready to prepare for and receive the two sacraments the following year in second grade.

Note: If your child is older and has not received First Eucharist, please go to our OCIA for Children page for more information.

EXPECTATIONS FOR RECEIVING FIRST RECONCILATION AT HOLY EUCHARIST:

  • Attendance at all preparation sessions in addition to LIFT sessions is required.
  • If a prep session is missed, assignments will need to be completed and a meeting with the Director of Faith Formation may be necessary. Missing a session could hinder your child’s advancement in the program.
