RCIA for Children is open to the family of any child from age 7 to 13 who has not been baptized, has been baptized in another faith, and children who are baptized but have not had formal religious education. Children in this program learn about what the teachings of the Catholic Church while connecting these teachings to their everyday lives through a program designed just for children.
Our children have been meeting during the 8:30 am Mass and reflecting on the Sunday readings. We have had lots of great conversations, acted out scenes from the Bible and decorated a Jesse tree. This year, we have three children preparing to be fully initiated into the Church. Please pray for them as they continue to grow in their faith and journey to Easter.
