We all know how challenging our lives have become since COVID-19. Providence House is meeting the challenges of domestic violence through their efforts to house and counsel families in need. The cases of domestic violence have risen sharply in the past year. They are housing 60-70 individuals in need of services. They have run out of space in their safe houses & are housing in motels. The rooms are equipped with microwave ovens.
In the last seven years our faith community has stepped up to help providence house through the ACTS women’s group Lenten soup program. Your monetary donations have raised over $14,000. This year we are asking the community to spring into action with donations of microwave friendly food items, personal products, and monetary donations.
ACTS will be collecting donations on June 23rd in our parking lot circle, and then ACTS will deliver the collection on June 24th.
