Weekend Ministries - Making the Weekend experience Excellent

Welcome Center: welcome guests, provide information and mass cards


Greeters:  The role of this ministry is to joyfully and sincerely welcome each person coming to Mass and/or other Services and Events at Holy Eucharist. It also serves as an easy first step in involvement in parish ministry


Hosts: Hosts assist visitors at every mass by greeting at the worship space doors, finding seats, gathering the collection baskets, preparing guests for the Presentation of the Gifts, directing during the reception of communion and distributing parish bulletins.  


Online Hosts: This ministry provides a welcoming and inviting experience online during our live streamed Masses.  


Café Ministers:   Serve refreshments and connect with Café guests


Kidzone: Assist in our faith based early childhood program for ages 2 years –5 years old .


Time Travelers, our Children's Word Program: Assist in our vibrant program available at the beginning of Mass. Assist the leaders engage the children (ages Kindergarten to 5th Grade) in various activities.


Hall Monitor - an extra set of eyes and ears during our kids programs and transitions to and from the programs before they begin - they work with the ministers in our kids programs to keep our kids safe  and help our parents feel comfortable sending their children to enjoy Kidzone, Time Travelers or LIFT. 


Music Ministry: The Music Ministry provides music for all of our weekend liturgies as well as Holy Days, Weddings, Funerals and other special occasions. The Music Ministry at Holy Eucharist currently includes choirs for adults, teens and children, cantors and instrumentalists. Contact rpeiffer@holyeucharist.org


Tech Ministry: This ministry provides the "online" doors to our Church (often the first look).  Ministers live stream the Mass.  Also, this ministry uses the soundboard to adjust audio during our Masses.  No experience needed.


Family Faith Formation: There are so many ways to participate in our faith formation programs. From small groups leaders, food prep, sacrament prep teams - there is something for EVERYONE, even teens. Contact dremalay@holyeucharist.org

LITURGICAL Ministries

Altar Servers: Altar Servers offer service to God and the community by assisting the priest during Mass. Click HERE for more information.  


Art and Environment:  This team works behind the scenes to transform our worship space for the liturgical seasons



Eucharistic Ministers:  ministers appointed by the pastor to assist in administering the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  They may also take the sacraments to those who are ill or otherwise unable to attend Mass.


Lectors Lectors proclaim the Word of the Lord during the Liturgy.


Linen Ministry:  These ministers clean and press the altar linens and purificators used each week in our liturgies.

fAITH FORMATION MINISTRIES

HERO - Youth Ministry: Be part of the adult team that supports our high school students who come together to share their faith.


LIFT - Family Faith Formation: There are so many ways to participate in our faith formation programs. From small groups leaders, food prep, sacrament prep teams - there is something for EVERYONE, even teens.  Contact dremaley@holyeucharist.org


Baptism Ministry: Prepare families for baptism through a preparation class and offer support on day of baptism


Sacrament Prep Team:  Assist with preparation of students for First Eucharist or Confirmation.  


RCIA for Children, Teens or Adults:  Be part of a team that prepares members as they journey through a program preparing them to receive sacraments and learn more about their Catholic Faith.


Small Groups: Where the church becomes domestic. Become a facilitator of a Small Group (don't need biblical background - just part of the group who keeps the timing of the group) or join one.  CLICK HERE for more information.

Prayer and outreach teams

Bereavement: Facilitators are trained to offer support sessions to those who have experienced loss.


Respect Life: Members increase the awareness of respect for life issues.


Funeral Hospitality: Serve refreshments before a funeral and greet guests


HOPE: Seniors are assisted with challenging tasks including transportation, companionship, grocery shopping. Call 609 268 1818 for assistance.


Hospital and Homebound ministries: ministers bring the Eucharist to hospitals and home offering prayer and comfort. Training available.


Interfaith Hospitality: Works to help homeless families by providing meals throughout the year.


Men of St Joseph: a group of men dedicated through prayer to be better fathers, husbands and friends


New Lisbon Ministry: members bring caring and compassion to the very special of God's children.


Prayer Ministry: as visitors and parishioners request prayer and submit prayer intentions on our website, they are added to a list where ministers pray for these intentions weekly.


Prayer Shawl Ministry: members create knitted or crocheted prayer shawls for those in need of comfort.


St Vincent de Paul Society a community whose mission is to assist those in need through prayer and action. For more   information or for assistance call 609 268 0005.  

Groups and organizations

ACTS:  Actively Caring Through Sharing - a multi-generational women's group with a goal of meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of women in the parish. Contact actswomen@gmail.com

Seniors: A social activity group with a goal to inform, entertain and help members. The group holds luncheons, monthly meetings and sponsors trips.
